I'm Back - Almost

I've been quite busy during my absence from posting. I've joined Influenster and received and reviewed a Marc Jacobs beauty VoxBox. Most importantly, I've been practicing applying makeup. I've learned a lot and would like to learn even more. Sometimes, I feel like it taking me a long time to master some tricks. The slow learning maybe because, I never wore makeup before I decided to take a Makeup Artistry class. I only knew how to apply lipstick and come to find out - I was doing that wrong. lol. I've done a couple of faces. I've practiced on myself and family. Some of it looked good, some looked bad. Let me say, pay your Makeup Artist! If they are good, they are worth the price that they charge. Being a Makeup Artist is hard work and supplies aren't cheap.

Below is the makeup that I did for my 40th birthday photo shoot. A simple look. I swear it took me forever to put those lashes on, but overall I think that it turned out cute. I've yet to master contouring, so I didn't even try it. By the time that I do, It will probably be a thing of the past. LOL. I'm going to do better with the pictures and names of the products that I on my website. I do remember that I'm wearing  Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara and Ruby Woo Lipstick. By the way, I'm a party planner also. I embellished the crown and faux lipstick

Good News, I have a new website that is currently under construction. I've added a link below, but it will redirect you back to my blog until construction is finished.

More pictures and product reviews will be posted on my new website. Until next time, stay beautiful!
